Has Anybody Here Seen Roy?
Has Anybody Here Seen Roy?

Comedy/ 9 Characters, 5 Women, 4 Men (plus 3 recorded voices)/ Full Length, Two Acts

Synopsis: A funny and surprising journey about love, friendships, myths, and a man with one hell of a voice. Sisters Jean and Linda are outwardly happy. However, Jean's husband, Royal Smith, left her fourteen years ago and she can't stop thinking about him. Linda has tried to forget him but her life stopped years ago, too, when they had an affair. She lives in fear of Jean's finding out.

They have a lot of questions. Where did Roy go? Did he really care for them? Who was he? And why did he leave in such a hurry? Their lives change when Anna, a flamboyant actress, comes looking for a man she thinks is a friend of Roy's.

All becomes clear at the Fourth of July parade when they find the answers to a lot of their questions and in the process find themselves again.

"A good romp… a universal theme of love and loss."
- Laurie Rosenthal, Palisadian Post

"From the casting to the costuming, the audience watched believable characters weaving credible stories that resemble a French farce - as is so often true of our untidy lives. And, not incidentally, the play is very funny!"
- Bonnie Hecht, Palisadian Post

"An enchanting comedy. Has Anybody Here Seen Roy? is a bit of a mystery mixed in with some comedy and a lot of fun slyness."
- Rose Desena, thelosangelespost.com
